Refund Policy - Jackman Mechanical Ltd.
At Jackman Mechanical Ltd., we are committed to providing professional plumbing, gas, and heating services to our residential and commercial customers. Due to the nature of the services we provide, the following No Refund Policy applies to all work performed.
1. No Refunds
All payments for services — including but not limited to diagnostics, labour, installations, repairs, maintenance, emergency call-outs, and materials — are final and non-refundable once payment has been made.
2. Deposits
Any deposits paid to secure scheduling, technician time, or to order materials are non-refundable once work has been scheduled or materials have been ordered, regardless of whether services are ultimately completed.
3. Completed or Partially Completed Services
Once a service has been fully or partially performed, no refunds will be issued, including in cases of customer dissatisfaction, change of mind, or project scope changes.
4. Warranty & Service Adjustments
While refunds are not offered, Jackman Mechanical Ltd. stands behind the quality of its workmanship.
If an issue arises due to an error or mistake made by a Jackman Mechanical technician, the labour required to correct the issue will be provided at no charge.
If additional parts or materials are required to complete the correction, the customer will be responsible for the cost of those parts and materials.
Any service adjustments or corrective work are provided at the sole discretion of Jackman Mechanical Ltd. and do not constitute a refund or partial refund.
5. Cancellations
For scheduled appointments, customers must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the arrival fee being charged and retained.
If a technician has already been dispatched, the arrival fee is non-refundable, even if no work is performed.
Customers remain responsible for payment of services rendered up to the point of cancellation.
6. Materials & Parts
All materials and parts purchased and/or installed by Jackman Mechanical Ltd. are non-refundable. Manufacturer warranties may apply separately and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
7. Acceptance of Policy
By requesting services, approving an estimate, signing a work order, or submitting payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this No Refund Policy in full.
