What does Jackman Mechanical do?
Three trades that meet in the same mechanical room. Plumbing: repairs, installations, renovations and new construction, from a leak to a whole house of new piping. Gas: installation, repair and maintenance of gas lines and gas equipment, for appliances at home and equipment in restaurants and buildings. Heating: troubleshooting, installing and maintaining gas heating equipment such as furnaces and boilers. Each has its own pages under homes and businesses.
How does a job with Jackman Mechanical work?
- You reach us by phone, by text with photos, or with the request form. Texts and requests land in one job inbox, with the address and the photos together.
- We call or text you back, with questions if the photos leave any.
- We price the job with you. Jackman Mechanical prices each job directly with you; no prices are published on this site. When a job is quoted, the estimate comes by text or email as a link that opens on any phone.
- We book a day and an arrival window, and you get a text when we are on the way.
- The invoice and receipt come the same way, as a link. The estimates and payments page has the details.
What will you not find on this site?
Prices, star ratings we gave ourselves, or claims we cannot show you. Every rule quoted on these pages links to the government body or utility that wrote it, and every photo is from a Jackman Mechanical job. Reviews belong where customers write them, on Jackman Mechanical's Google profile.
Who regulates gas work in Ontario?
The TSSA. Under Ontario law, maintenance of furnaces and fuel-fired appliances must be performed by TSSA-registered contractors with TSSA-certified gas technicians (TSSA). The gas work guide explains how to check any company in the TSSA's lookup tool.
